How About That Obama!

Well the President has performed another task,left all the Haters behind,slipped over to War zone,chilled with Soldiers had a talk with them, enjoyed them cheering,and happy to see his face,knowing how hard he was working for them, in a fight He did not start.
It's nice to go away sometime and just see new folk, who have an appreciation for Life and Liberty and to see another day, in a strange land where no one knows their name.

I had a wonderful Lunch today with some Gentlemen who knows, what it means to face rejection on a daily bases, yet the Principle Owner is smiling and doing very well,growing a company and hiring other highly Qualified men to work.

There are so many Black men doing well,that I had forgotten how many there are.Living in the Southern sector, I see them in relax attire and forget that's not their every day wear.

So proud to have set with Two business Black men and another two came into the Restaurant while we were there.

Republican Party! What a Disapointment!

The Party of my Father, my Party for a long time,even when I supported Democrats candidates. I always believed in their ability to treat people fairly and not cheat.
I caught Lot's of grief, in fact the hardest lesson came,when I ran for City Council,
People who knew me very well said,"they could not vote for a Republican, my opponent robo called the voters and reminded them,that I was in the Party. I found out just how much the Republican Party was hated, somehow because I was not one of the One's people hated I though maybe, there were more like me.
I supported Obama, because of his message,plan and energy to get things done,John McCain had a dysfunctional Family and that crazy Sara Palin made him worse, the dumbest White woman ,I ever heard off in my 68 years of living. There is an old Movie,The American President released in 1995, in a speech the President said, Republicans ( i put republican in)
care about two things, "Making you afraid of it and telling you who's to blame for it" just to be re elected. This is so true today, from a movie the truth rang true.
What Republicans have done is, worked the American people up to be afraid of Obama, with lie after lie,now they're telling you he's the blame for it, with lie after lie
and the are sticking to those lies, from the Governor to the Attorney General of our State. No one told Abbot we wanted him to file any law suit, far as I know he has not ask. Who annotate Perry and Abbot, God? Republicans have turned into angry old men and drunk old women,who care only for themselves, there is a higher power who will take care of them. If my description of Republicans, doesn't fit you ,please don't be offended,I'm speaking about ,what I saw and heard from people in DC for the past few days.Why would Officials make the Public afraid of Health Care ,when the very people voting NO has public Option health care and Medicare cards in their pocket, why is it good for them and bad for Us, never witness such a lie being told to the Public in the Public.

May Hugh Robinson Rest In Peace,Kid Won The Right!

Late News announced, Judge ruled , General Robinson's older Kid's will have the honor, of burying their Father, at Arlington National Cemetery. I am so happy for that.His first Love and Mother of his Children ,will have him close,to care for him and his final resting place.

Woman ,come and go but true Love is everlasting , there is no love as a Fathers love.

Update,Hugh Robinson Burial .Most Likely VA.

It seems that a Dallas County Court,has granted an Order for the Legal next of Kin of Mr. Robinson , his older Children who live in VA.,to take possession of his Remains for Burial. There seems to be a problem with the current Ms. Robinson providing a legal marriage certificate.So sad that these kids had to spend this time and money while suffering the lost of their Father.

Hugh,worked hard for this Community and deserves better ,women should try hard to have their affairs in Order, when dealing with a Loved one who has Children and former wives. All people should have their affairs in order,we never know when our last day is upon us.
Yesterday,because of this family's situation, I called all my various places that would be impacted by my death and corrected all information,placed all documents in the safe place ,and started to write ,what I want to occur ,at the time of my demise.
You all should do the same,Death is the one thing we know is coming,the date remains unknown.

Hugh Robinson's Family , Something Is Very Wrong !

Having been in Funeral Business for over 50 years,McGowan Funeral Home,2830 South Ervay St.Dallas,Texas,I know when something is going wrong within a family,of a deceased Love one.Hugh Robinson passed away,some time last week and there was a new story on his death as well as a paid obituary submitted by Funeral home in charge approve by a family member making arrangements.First and foremost in the new story,I felt the interviewee,gave to much information,and the Orb. in the paper had former wives included and I had never witness that in the history of the profession,were no children were involved,than the mother of his Kids was left out,and they had him being the biological father of a Step daughter.I knew from that,there were problems within the Family and his Older Kids.
Then, I saw the new Obituary,that include the Mother of the Older Kids and the correction on the Stepdaughter,minus all the ex wives,the fact an autopsy has been performed which,is an indication his medical record are being question,or home Death.
The new Obit. also said burial with Military honor will be announced.The new Obituary is also in this Sunday paper.
It's sad that the Family ,both groups are experiencing this trauma after the lost of a Loved one.Hugh never seemed a confused person,I had not seen him in about ten years,but he was always very nice and kind. I hope they ,for the sake of their grieving and Hugh's legacy ,it gets resolved quickly.

Lewisville Cat Case,Was Violation Of Young Mans Civil Rights !

The case I saw on Judy Judy about a week or so ago, was a violation of the Young man's Civil rights and a complaint should be filed with Justice Department right away, if you feel like going into it. Your life might be changed, if you intend to remain in that area, I am not sure if that was a County Assistant DA,who retrieved the cat or a City Prosecutor.Also when you were arrested was it City Police of Sheriff deputy.Clearly the owner of the cat lied to both parties and perjury should be filed on her.Please check with Justice on what your rights are as it pertains to the Law enforcement people involved in your case,clearly your rights were violated.

Southern Dallas Justice,Please ACLU We Need Help !

In Southern Dallas a Constable wrote a young man a traffic ticket,he read the instruction on said ticket and followed them to the letter of law.This young man drove to the JP Court in Pct.1,Lancaster ,Texas well within the time frame on the ticket.The Young man ask for a Jury trial,the Court clerk tried to discourage the trial,she told him about various programs on paying the ticket,at the end of conversation,the Young man said,I want a Jury trial,the Clerk said OK then,but it will take a while,I will send you notice of date.The Clerk did not give him any paper with his request on it nor did she sign ticket indicating he had been there.
This Young man received no NOTICE from JP Pct 1 on Court date for Jury trial,he was waiting for notice,when a letter arrived from Austin,Texas, saying he had been found guilty of the offence on ticket and owed a surcharge for his guilty verdict and the fine for ticket.
How can a Man be found guilty of a traffic offence,when he never went to Court,never notified of a date and the sad part is,its going to be easy to see if there was a Jury called for a Pct.1 from the downtown Jury service.They lied to the State,if he had failed to appear a warrant should have been issued and he would have been arrested,they have now put a mark on his license and a three year sur charge,when they did not do their job.What kind of Judge/JP would do such a thing? How can these people over here continue to violate Peoples rights and we can do nothing about t.What is happening in Southern Dallas is worse than any Country we are fighting for,we have no justice out here,and they make and break laws daily and nobody gives a DAM.Wrong Young Lady arrested at school,when warrant has male on it,think anyone cares? No. How many other people have ask for Jury trial and because Judge/JP has to work,they don't do it and than find you guilty,without any type of Court appearance.

Black People ,When Will We, Get On, With It ?

I have lived 68 years,gone through so many trials and tribulations,wars,injustice,I can't name them.I know its time to get on with Life and living life as it is,and stop living history.Knowing history,understanding it and determined not to repeat it,is worth while,but living it,talking about it,basing all our present activities on it,is useless.
I have the utmost respect for Dr.Julianne Malveaux,her column in the Dallas Weekly,this week is disappointing to me.Dr. Malveaux says Mo'nique's Oscar was Victory and Setback.Julianne says,she did not relish the Precious story making it to the screen,but every day,Child Welfare workers deal with these cases daily,all over the US,where is the outrage from Black people? She goes on to say Sandra Bullock won,for playing a White woman who, took in a Black kid,and there are many Black woman raising relatives and other peoples kids,we know there are hundreds of Black women caring for Black kids,that is normal for our race.The movie Blind Side was about an unusual story,a story people will pay to see.There are enough Black millionaires to make movies about our families,we cannot blame White Hollywood for not making a single interest movie,who will pay to see it? The fact is,both are movies,Blind Side was based on a true story,Precious was not.Oprah and Tyler Perry helped to promote it,Black people got to work at their craft and won Performance based awards.Dr.Malveaux is making a movie into real life,its not.She speaks about the 10 million budget and the fact has earned only 50 million,I see nothing wrong with a low budget film making 5 times what it cost to make it,with DVD sales and rentals it will make additional monies.
Bottom line folks,its time for Black people to get on with it,no matter what goes on,some Black person has something to cry,we are so accustom to being a victim we cannot stop finding fault with everything.I am so sick of hearing about how bad Blacks are being done,and I look around and the only people doing us bad or US. I hope before God calls me home,Black people will Get on with living Life as it is,stop the Blame game and get off your Ass and do what needs to be done.Dallas needs to take a lesson from Houston,Black people in Houston do it,and the Ones that Don't,the people turn them OUT.

DART Shame On You ! Pay Mr.Betz.

DART you should be ashamed of your treatment of Roscoe Betz, and the hard working Hispanics families who rent from him,who are hurt from the flooding.
DART,you know as I know,you put that cement and field dirt in that space to keep your property from flooding,you maybe did not know that it would do the damage to the homes of the other residents,but it did.DART you have known it long enough to have corrected it.
DART, you have spent enough money on legal fees to have fixed the problem and paid the small amount of damages caused. You can still simply remove the fill dirt and cement and stop the flooding,your facility does not have people living in it.
I just wonder where are all the Hispanic Leaders who wanted a street named for CHAVEZ, you must did not know what he was about? Chavez would be there standing next to Mr.Betz fighting for the families living in this flooding area,created by DART.
Chavez fought for people who were powerless and needed help,sitting on the DART Board,holding a seat,and not knowing the people effected by this flooding and allowing your high paid legal staff to stomp on a 91 year old man, in Court,is not cute or smart.In fact its a PR nightmare and I am going to make it a point to use every means available to me,to get the word out.The fun Part is Mr.Betz won over you legal team and will continue to win,the higher you go,and again Dallas will look like fools all over the World.I hope all people who read this blog,please call DART and tell them not to appeal County Court decision in Betz case.

What Happen to The Other John Wiley Price ?

Once upon a time ,there was a young man who cared about everyone,he feed people,housed people,got cars washed,fought battles for people,powerless to fight for themselves.This young man drove the bust of Dr. King to Atlanta, for approval by the family, and back.Much time has passed and times have changed,but along the way something happen and I missed it.
The John Price,that would not acknowledge he new Erick Johnson,yet he had appointed in to the Dallas County Historical Commission back in 2006, is not the Price I knew back in the day.The Price,that said he's not concerned by Deputies not having certification is not the real John Price,the license process teaches what you need to know ,to perform the job,that should be his major concern,with 85% on inmates Black and he always been the advocate of Black people,so they believe.The smoke and fire system in the jail has not worked in years,and the Court knows it.There was a time they took parts from 2377 Stemmons to make it work for inspections, and then bring back.The new Medical Examiner building just built with Bond money cannot be used,something wrong with it,have you all seen the very new building 2355 Stemmons,that cannot be used,has anyone ask Why?The ME is operating in a substandard building while the new place sits empty.Something is wrong Dallas County,and it is costing the Taxpayers lots of money.John Price once upon a time was a champion of the people,now he's become this angry old man,who punish people who differ with him,using power to stop not start progress,involved with people he knows mean nobody but themselves good.It was a time he would have called for Valdez resignation,not now. I'm not sure if there is a place for the John, who broke limbs walked slow across streets,if there is a place for a John Price,it would be the John who cared about the Senior Citizen,who needed her house painted and Tax paid,when he was a young honest,innocent man from the Country.

Tom Dunning, A True Friend !

There are not many people in life who can claim one Friend. I am speaking of a person who is with you,come rain or shine,in sickness or health for richer or poorer.A man who means what he says,by his action. A man who has never allowed race, gender or politics,to dictate who he befriend.

Tom Dunning, is that man, a Friend in every sense of the meaning of the word.Tom's wife has been very kind and accepting of his friends,and it shows in her face,as she supports Tom and his friends.

Thanks, Tom, you are the type of person,I would pick to be my "Fox Hole Buddy".Many years ago, my Father told me,"Be Careful Who You Pick To Be Your Fox Hole Buddy",I have never forgot.

I am so happy for Erick Johnson and his family.I know he will do a great job.The faith in the voters of District 100,I had proved to be right.Last night I saw people from the District,that I did not know were with him,Some old very hard working community folk.
I also saw Craig Watkins,our DA he sure has soft hands, and very personable.I supported Craig the very first time he ran for DA ,when a lot of people ignored him,I supported him last time,when the Powerful Democrats laughed at him again,and did not support ,him until the Votes were counted.Now everyone is his, king maker,Craig Watkins had enough faith and guts to step out and run,that faith and help from hard working dedicated folk and the top of the ticket bought that victory.
DA Watkins, did say I had written something bad about him on my blog,I said no ,I have not,then he reminded me it was about his wife ,being a political consultant,I reminded him that I had freedom of speech,and I did not think it appropriate for her to represent Judges in Dallas County,it's not illegal. He is such a fine young man ,he and I had a good exchange.I know his family and have admired him and them for their hard work, helping him.I really like DA Watkins and when I do write about him,its to help him stay in office,his heart is right,he's smart and doing a good job.Some fights,I think his inter circle should help him avoid,there just not his fights.Best of luck and Love to Erick and Craig.

Officials In Dallas ,Sill Don't Get It,Favors For Pay ,Is Illegal !

Last week and the beginning of this week,Federal Judge handed down long prison sentences,for a former City Councilman City Plan Commissioner and others,for favors for pay scheme. Yet ,it seems that many of the current Officials,don't remember or do not care that some of their actions are in the same vain.

When you are an Elected or Appointed Official,with the authority to govern,all your decisions are to be in the best interest of the body you serve,not to benefit private business people directly,when you make a decision at the request of private business people,that is not in the best interest of the Public body you govern,but for the sole profit of a private business,its illegal.
Public officials,who allow vendors to lodge complaints, and without any investigation
make decisions based on one sided information are doing disservice to their community.When Officials allow vendors to write memos and letters to Governing Boards,signed by them (official) with information they believe is true ,and turns out it's not correct, and has purposely , been altered from original language,is an indicator the Official is being use for someones personal gain.

The prison time seems to not had the right effect,the Judge had expected,it's business as usual in Dallas with Officials.

Black College Steppers,Mad,White College Steppers Won Contest!

Coca Cola hosted a Stepping Contest for College students,any Step group could enter.A White group entered the competition and won,they were picked by the Judge's.
Black Steppers became angry after White group won and acted a dam fool.Now the claim Stepping is a Black cultural thing and White people should not have been in the contest.How crazy can Black people be these days. What about Stepping is a Black thing ,where did it start? When did we rule who could dance or not. We do every thing the White man does,but we don't want them to dance like us.And to think they are in college.

The worst part is Coke ,gave in to their demands, and created another First place and prize for their group.Coke wanted to just keep the peace and go away,it cost an extra $10,000.00. I will bet you $100.00 that Coke will not sponsor another program
for this group.They won the prize,but lost the war.The school will not overcome the long time lost.The contest rule did not say you must be Black Steppers ,to enter or win, we want equal rights ,what about other peoples rights?

Dog Investigation Concluded !

The investigation of the shooting of my dog has been closed. I understand the reason,as an avid viewer of First 48,COPS,CSI and others,I understand the no witness rule.In my dog's case only the Shooter and her Handy man (she told police her Gardner)was present and witnesses.The Official report the shooter said she came home after being called by the Handyman,saying the dog was in her yard and he was in his truck,she said when she got home,the dog was gone,while she and handy man stood talking dog came back,she than went into house got gun and shot dog,wonder where handyman was while she went to get gun?Wonder why she did not remain in safety of house until Police or animal control arrived? Officer White explain to me why a case could not be filed,the DA always review cases and without a witness we would really have no case.I am happy with that outcome,I just wanted someone to hear the other side of story,I know she shot my dog for evil,but what I know and what can be proved in a Court of law are different.
My Son gave the dog away ,so he would not be killed, we both have put the neighbor in the hands of God. We have been here 25 years and never had problem,I can live here 25 more and never see that crazy woman, who is so jealous ,of who I am.God blessed me with a brain,many others have tried to destroy me ,because I speak the truth and they can't stand it,but oh, I serve a God,that keeps me wrapped in his blood.
Thanks DPD and Officer White for the time you spent trying to solve a situation that should have never happen,in a upper income and educated community.

Update,My Dog Being Shot,DPD Investigation?

First,let me make myself clear,I support Dallas Police Department and Dallas Fire Department.I only expect them to do their job's fair and without any political pressure to favor one party over another. There is a fine line between a good Officer and a not so good Officer,and it has nothing to do with training,it's all in the Common sense factor. As in "if it does not make sense,it's not true".Two DPD Defectives came to my home to investigate my complaint against my neighbor for shooting my dog,one Black and one Hispanic, they came to the conclusion,without speaking to any witness,looking at the crime sense,looking at the distance from the back door of her home,to where the shooting occurred,where her workers truck was parked,dog would have had to walk pass workers truck to enter her yard, and be shot where he was,depression of grass on ground with blood,clearly shows dog was already in a down position when he was shot,shot with small 22 or 25 callable gun, which means she was at close range to dog,when shot.History of lying to Police and animal control Officers.This woman shot my dog and called Police to report shooting as if she shot a burglar,she called to get her story in first,she knows DPD will believe her Drama, first,and she has this sick thinking that she can do wrong,just tell your story first and you have the upper hand.The report ,the Detectives read,said she shot the dog because,she was protecting her workers,a grown man with pick up truck about 15 feet from where he was pouring cement,and she was in fear of her life and her family's life. Now what is missing from this report is,what the dog was doing,what you witness the dog doing that would cause you to fear for your life,did he chase you ,did he even bark or react to you in any way,did your worker fear for his life,could he have got into his truck until police or animal control arrived? Did you see dog then go into your house and retrieve gun and come back out?The State law says it is a crime to discharge a gum in the City limits of a city,so we know she committed that crime and the neighbor on the other side who heard the shooting,told the Officers he wanted to file on her,his statement is nowhere to be found,State law also says,Penal code 42.092 A3,8, and B 1,2,6,its a crime to injury or kill non livestock,dog and etc,on a persons property if they are not damaging property.Animal cruelty law says to must be in danger from said attack animal.My dog was doing nothing but trying to find his way home,a puppy that accidentally got out of a fence ,that a tree limb broke because of the storm,I nor my Son knew the dog could get out,our other neighbor saw the dog he walked up to him and did not bark or anything,my auto gate was closed and he could not get back in.I do not want any special favor from DPD or anyone,I want an investigation of animal cruelty,because I know she ,waited for an opportunity to shot my dog, she told me she would shot my little house(poodle) dog if he came into her yard,so this was premeditated.I know it is my responsibility to keep my dogs in my yard,I have three fences,every time one gets out I build another fence,my poodles love finding escape routs when they go outside.In this neighborhood if we see a dog out we call the owner and tell them or we bring the dog in until they come home,never have we had a neighbor who act like this,she has never called me and said my dog was out or in her yard.
If after an investigation the Police say,it is not,I will be satisfied,until than I won't.This woman runs a retail Tax service in her home,cars all day long,that is not what home business means,this woman built a room and poured cement without permit,she has ruin the peaceful integrity of our neighborhood.But somehow DPD keeps giving her a break,because she took Para legal course at El Centro,where she illegally use the NCIC system.Vick went to Pen,a Dallas man is in Pen for 8 years this woman at home waiting to shot my other dog.
I hope that this Lady will take her action serious,before she shoot me or my Son,I wonder how DPD will explain that.

Today on Judge Judy Court show, a young Black man,clean record never arrested or in trouble was suing a young white female student for false arrest and return of bond money.It seems the young woman lost her cat,the Black guy found the cat and kept it for two days, because he does not like cats he called and ask one of his Friends if they wanted the cat,they said yes.He gave the cat to the Friend.

Fourteen days later,a note was taped to the door of the Flower shop were he worked,looking for a lost cat with phone no.on note.The young man who found the cat,called the woman just to inform her that the cat was alive and safe,and that he had given it to someone else.The young woman ask for phone number of people who had cat,the guy said no,but I will call them and tell them you want the cat back.The friend said no, we are attached to it,he told this to the young lady,she than went and filed a thief case on the Young man knowing full and well the cat was not stolen.What happen next is a New one even for me.
The Lewisville DA went and picked up the cat,delivered it to the young Lady three days later, Lewsville police arrest young man and charge him with Thief of the cat,he stayed in jail 22 hours and spent $1000.00 on Bond.Charges were dropped later.
Only in Texas would a Black Man doing a good deed,saving a cat,finding it a home,contacting owner,notifying of his condition and where abouts,being charged with thief because new family did not want to give cat up after 14 days in their home,be arrested after cat returned to original owner, who lost it in first place. Texas looked like backwater buffoons,the young White woman looked even worse as Judge Judy spoke about the Police,DA and the Justice system in the Lewisville area.Judge Judy was correct,and people wonder why, Texas such a bad name in other parts of USA.Look at how we treat people especial minorities in this State.

I Will Seek Help From DA Watkins!

Since DPD did not file a criminal complaint against my neighbor for shooting my dog,and the other neighbor ask to file a, discharge of firearm in a residential area,
a few feet from the golf course ,nothing has been done.
Micheal Vick was convicted and jailed,here in Dallas another man received 8 years in prison, but this woman can select a dog and just shoot him and nothing happens, but Dallas city staff plays along with her game.I will direct file tomorrow with DA Watkins, a felony animal cruelty charge.
Tonight Fox 4 aired a case of a dog being stabbed in Kaufman,police are investigating it, in Dallas you can admit you shot Betty Culbreath's ,Son dog and nothing is done.

City Tax Dollars Wasted ,Political Authority Abused!

I told you Sat. my neighbor shot my Son's dog.I filed a report with DPD to pursue a criminal charge ,of Animal cruelty, much to my surprise I was told today the report was filed as an incident.Not criminal.
Well as I was sitting in my home office window ,looking at the snow,a City Rapid Response van drove up,parking across the street in front of another neighbors home,then a white Code Compliance vehicle drove up.I went on about my business,wondering what they were doing at Erick's house ,since he had no animals.45 minutes later,my door bell rang,three people from Animal control,two had badges and I think maybe guns, the other had been here before and knew the history of the crazy neighbor,the tall supervisor wanted to see the dog,I though they were here to help me on the shooting.
We were out back when they said the Doctor needed to enter my auto gate,I said Doctor,they said yes,the Vet needed to examine the dog.I knew than someone had filed a complaint against me.Can you believe this fool who shot my dog,called the City on me and reported animal abuse.When did the City of Dallas hire enough Vet's that one can make house calls. My Neighbor,Shot My Son's Dog, Because She Hates Me!

I have lived in my house 25 years,I love my neighborhood and until three years ago,had never experienced any problem with any neighbor. Sub prime lending and the fact the new Methodist Bishop did not want to live in the Southern Sector,brought into the neighborhood ,a trailer park ,foil paper on window,leave you Christmas lights up year around,ladder sitting up in front yard for weeks,built room closing in patio without pulling permit,trash all over back yard fool.The woman thinks she moved into
Highland Park,but lives as if she is still in the swamp land where she resided before.
This woman shot my Son's dog ,because the storm had knocked a tree on our dog run,the dog was able to get out,we were both gone and the Coward used that opportunity to kill the dog.She says he got into her yard,yet she had an opportunity to go inside,call 911 if 311 was to slow,but she didn't call them until after she shot the dog,dog was not aggressive at all, he was a happy puppy,would lay down to have his head rubbed.
I have been in Court with this woman about another dog,when she tried to sue me,when her dog and my dog had a fight,she lost the case,since then my life has been hell living next to Satan herself.The dog in that legal action has been gone 2 years,two years,since then I have only had my two little poodles,they got out several times and went across her yard before I could get them back in,she put two signs in her yard saying"Betty Culbreath Keep Your Dogs Out Of My Yard,the rain got those,so she had a professional sign printed on both sides with same wording.This sign was to harass me,it was painted on both sides my house only face one side.
As I drove up to my home this evening,I saw all the police cars,animal control cars,other neighbors out side,one said, she shot your Sons dog,I could not believe this kind sweet dog was shot, and they could not find him,the blood was there but he had run after being shot,it was dark and the Country club lawn is dark and large.We could not get medical treatment because we still have not found him.
I will file animal cruelty on this woman,and prosecute her to the fullest.She had many options before shooting my Son's dog.If a man got 8 years for animal cruelty,this one should get 10 years,hers was premeditated.

Bishop Larry McGriff has passed away a few moments ago. Bishop will be missed.Bishop was so real and faithful, he just got married and they were so happy and enjoying life. God has his time for every Season. I saw Bishop and Dr.Hollie-McGriff at a dinner just a few weeks ago, we sat together during pre dinner chat,they were delightful to be with.

If you read the article on Dallas County Commissioners Court meeting,yesterday I'm sure you are as confused as I am. The Court one week ago voted to allow the Constable to keep a drug sniffing dog, at no expense to the County,but liability.
Yesterday the vote changed with Cantrell giving so silly reason,and John Price changed his vote three time,saying he had more to worry about than a dog, never mind the majority of people in jail from District 3 are drug related, ME sees hundreds of drug related deaths each year, auto accidents,overdose,murder and etc.,what takes the cake is Mayfield voting against the dog, because the Deputy trained of said dog, filed and won a lawsuit against the County.I expected more from Commissioner Mayfield.maybe he's drinking from the same cup as John Price.What a tragedy that elected Officials, would put their personal feelings above what is good or useful to the Community at large.Drugs are the number one problem in this County,and these three people can see no further than,their feelings.What a wast of tax money on them.

I don't normally talk about my travels ,or what I enjoy in my personal life,but Super Bowl 2011 will be a great opportunity for North Texas to show the World,there is more to Dallas than tall buildings and Jr's office building.Jerry Jones and the City of Arlington have done their part,now Dallas,Forth Worth and Irving must pull off the biggest Party in their lifetime.
My first Super Bowl was in New Orleans Jan.20,1978,Tulane Stadium,Dallas vs.Denver Broncos,it was the coldest day of my life.The temperature must have been 20 degrees in that open stadium,it was so cold we left our seats and stood under the bleachers.
My friend Evelyn Johnson had a friend who was not using his tickets and sold them to me,not having gone before ,had no idea there would be no hotels available without reservation,well we got there, and stayed in a hot sheet motel, very last room in the area or sleep in car.
Well now ,Super Bowl is an Event, not just a game,hotels book rooms for 4 days , none less,the official party starts on Thursday,Cowboy stadium is the largest stadium,so we will have 100,000 people with tickets,most of those go to Corporate sponsors,the teams,all NFL teams get tickets and the remainder put in lottery by NFL.We can expect 100,000 ticket people 125,000 non ticket party people,100,000 local come in for fun,NFL experience and other family activities scheduled by major Corporation.The NFL Experience is like this NBA Jam, still trying to figure why they call it Jam.It a very good activity and well attended,there is the Media Hotel where, they broadcast and interview Celebrities and people wanting to get a look at Stars ,normally walk around meeting and greet them. It's just fun. Most Big Shots fly in ,get into Limo to hotel,to events back to hotel and etc.They are not the ones on the street spending money and enjoying all the people stuff.They are in and Out see you next year.I was a VIP once at Super Bowl in Atlanta, my goodness,I didn't know people lived so good,every hour was planned, and went off like clock work.Dallas just needs to calm down and please don't think you need Police in riot gear on the street.I have never witness any real disturbance at a Bowl, just maybe people a little drunk,there probably have been some ,but I never saw them. In Arizona I learned about former Chief Click, I ask his police officers on the street ,directing traffic, they gave him high mark,I came back and shared that with City Manager. Arizona was spread out also,traffic was a little slow,San Diego was great,Miami always good,Jacksonville Florida to small,beautiful City but small for SB,Atlanta was good one year ice and snow not so good.I hope our weather is good,bad weather can ruin it for regular people who enjoy the walking activities and other free fun.I'm not sure where the NFL headquarter hotel will be, normally its a Hyatt
I haven't heard yet,there is lots of traffic there,and people watchers.

Rick Perry did not get elected by the Sara Palin,Tea Party groups, they did not even like him, he was not conservative enough. I supported Perry in the past ,but who ever he has become ,its just too much for an older voter.

I was enjoying a light conversation, with a Sorority Sister,she ask me, How Long Do First Last? I had never though about it in those terms. This young lady started to name, First ,in Dallas that are still First.
Eddie Bernice first, Black Congresswoman,John Price first, Black County Commissioner, the entire Commissioners Court has changed except District 3.Royce West first,Black State Senator, how long do you hold Office, being the First.What point and time do you groom other young men and woman to follow in your foot step. Justice of Peace Cleo Steel retired and made room for a new JP, why can't the others follow suite.Many of them do good work, but how long is to long.Is it the power they crave,do they need a title to complete them? It's not the money because they make more on the side,than the salary pays.It cost to maintain two residences, in Austin,Washington,and Dallas.
I hope the one's who have other careers , will think about making room for new young smart people,the ones working for Dallas County can retire and enjoy their retirement and Social Security income and all the money they have saved from various
deals and consultant work.

Think about it, don't wait until the EMT's remove you from your desk,and see that drawer with the funny stuff in it.Retire or move up into another position and make room for someone else.Senator West is good at what he does,but I would like to see him as Attorney General,Governor or maybe US Senator.Justice of Peace Thomas Jones has worked hard, he can retire with full benifits. John Price has planty of every thing, he can just go home.

I just heard Democrat County Chair D.Ewing say, some Democratic Precinct Chairs are saying, "lets go ahead and elect Terri, then we can put who we want on the ballot", how silly is that.I have know Terri Hodge since we were in kindergarten St Peters Academy, and she is not that evil. For Democrat Precinct Chair's in District 100 to want a person not eligible to serve to win ,because they did not plead guilty prior to ballots being printed is just plain ignorant.

However,I knew it was going to happen, I wrote on DMN Ms.Floyd's blog, that I hoped the Democrat machine would not hold it against Erick Johnson, for entering the race prior to the guilty plea. I knew Monday, the plea was coming,Terri Hodge is no fool and she has always been a strong woman,and made a life and living for herself and Son. I admire her and the courage it took to take the deal.She put the public first,why don't the remainder of the Democrats take her lead and support Erick Johnson.Erick did nothing to Terri, he was in no way involved in anything harmful to Terri and has not campaigned on her problems with the law.
If the people so loyal to Terri had helped her along the way,just maybe this trouble would not exist.I am so sick of all these, Love You To Death, folk come running at the end, would show up in the beginning, we would all be better off.

I will do all I can for Erick,I will also visit Terri and send money,support her son and anything else until ,she is home or out of trouble.I hope to meet some of you others on my way there.

Dr. King had a Dream, he wanted all men and woman, children and alike to simply be treated the same.Dr.King wanted equal rights under the laws of the land for all people. Dr.King dreamed of , a world were people could design their own life ,and not be detered by unfair treatment because of the color of their skin.

Dr. King never ask for people of color, to drop out of school, depend on the government for your basic needs,while you spend your money on what you want.Dr. King did not dream of Young men with their pants on the ground.He did not dream of unmarried young woman giving birth to babies,with no means of support,asking the government.Dr. King dreamed of decent and safe housing ,for poor working people,the sick , disable and elderly. He did not dream of Public housing becoming a haven for young woman with multiply fathered children ,providing shelter for these young men with no visible means of income.

Dr. King never dreamed of a US, that would ship most common labor job across the Sea ,to cut cost ,helping other Countries provide for their people. A US that has define being poor and minority ,a target group , from people using a new word to conceal their racism and classicism, Conservative. The use of Conservative to explain certain act's and attitudes, does not pass the smell test. I've been a Conservative since I was a Teen,my Father was one, it does not mean hate and dislike because of financial status or race or place of origin.

Dr.King never dreamed of a time the Black Officials would treat their own worst than any Slave owner. He never dreamed that they would use their Position to hurt their people,and in the same breath cry Racism against anyone who has a different opinion from theirs.Using the EEOC to cover for bad work ethics,taking a days pay,and work half day,goof off the remainder and become angry if spoken to about it.Dr. King died
for us to be free ,and We, Black people have made a mockery of what the Soul of the Civil Rights movement was about.

I have seen no group effort to help the people of Haiti,I have seen no local Black church missionaries working in foreign lands.Correct me if I am wrong.I do believe the TD Jake's ministry has some in Africa.I know Dr. King would be very unhappy ,to see little boys with cell phones and no hair cuts.Girls showing all their skin,false hair and nails going nowhere. Rick Perry has an TV Ad running,saying he cut tax for Small Business people,he did.Perry cut unemployment tax for small business and bankrupt the fund.He than refused the Obama unemployment money publicly,then went behind closed doors and took some of the money to fund the unemployment,that he broke because he did not collect enough money from business to fund it.

Texas Education is in the low ranking,Nationally.In Dallas we have 48 under performing schools for one reason or another.The Governor is refusing to accept 700 million dollars,that Texans have already sent to DC for Education, using that old Willie Horton scare tactic,scare the White folk, with Obama taking over Education
and that will help him get elected.What the hell happens to the students in the mean time.It might not matter to Perry ,but it does to me.Rick Perry and his kind have pushed me from the Republican party,party of my father.I did not allow Newt,with his mean spirit to run me off,but now I have a choice.Every thing the Democrats do I don't like,at least they have an idea.Republican have become the party of No taxes high deficit, yet they have no answer.Stop Terror, with what it cost money,Perry and party wants to make life better for people in Iraq then it is for a Texan in Groom ,Texas. President Obama wanted Health Care reform to help middle class working people,who often suffer financially after some unexpected illness of a family member.Working people who's employer does not offer health insurance, small business people with less than 3 employees who cannot afford the high premium to pay for a very small business, yet does not qualify for the different public insurance plans.
President Obama has never said not did I misunderstand who his target population would serve.
The Republican party would have you think that there are a large number of Black's,Hispanics/illegals and low class mountain and hill Country Whites who don't work and will benefit from this plan.

Black Congressional caucus would have you believe the only people who will benefit are the poor white Hill County people.They will tell you President Obama has not helped Black people.
Now, truth be told, all the people who they ,are trying to scare you into believing will use all this Health money, are already on Government insurance.
You see ,People , Medicaid covers all children of low or no income people,Chips covers working parents with low.People in renal failure get 30 month Medicare regardless to age,there are a host of other Health benefits from the Government depending on the illness.The money for these programs is approved each year by the Fed's and sent to the States, the State's also add money to these Health care funds.

Did you Know the State Of Texas ask the Federal Education Agency for a waiver on Testing Teachers skills? Well ,they did and this is second year.What State would ask Obama to let their Teachers skip a Federal mandated test,to see if they could teach,yet allow students to be tested on material taught by someone who does not poses the skill to teach.Everyone who finish college cannot teach.Teaching is a skill and methodology.

My Son suffered from an addiction and now has overcome ,and is doing very good.My Son was well educated prior to the addiction and worked with some of Dallas's finest.
During his off time ,I begin to blog and people begin to dislike me for the truths In my opinion,I was blogging.My Son has never shared my politic views,he does not read my blogs,he does not know what I blog, so I hope in your dislike for me,it does not transfer to my Son.I have never allowed by displeasure of anyone to effect my relationship with other Friends and Family, work or every day living.
I hope 2010 will bring clear thinking and understanding among people of all backgrounds.That is my Prayer Lord.

What Is Wrong with Victory Park? I'll Tell You !

I spent the better part of Saturday looking at Victory Park, I went there with a Friend ,who is a genius in locating good business area for various types of people oriented establishments.With my zoning experience we made a good pair to asses the development for free and without it costing us millions.
First and foremost the project is facing the Freeway,where people can see the tall building,but cannot identify what they are,and if they could,there are no exits to directly connect to the development.The retail on ground level is not visible from any place,unless you are in the development,and that's a one way street. Buildings are bland no warmth,just cement and silver. One housing high rise calls itself The House, who will pay 1/4 million to live at the House.The name sounds like a boot legged house in the woods in East Texas.Shops and restaurants all same store front,prices to high for merchandise, no natural foot traffic.Sun shine on store front has glare making it hard to see items in display window.Parking on both sides of street in front of some stores make street narrow,and residents or Thur traffic drives very fast,leaves little time to view display windows from car.
AA Center design and color does not fit other modern design buildings,people leaving AA center go out into Street and parking lots, not flow into retail center,in fact you can't see them from AA center exit.There are some other minor things,there are changes that could be made to make the area more viable and fun.Maybe someone should call me and I'll tell you what he said, or you may hire him to turn that Development
around and tie all the entertainment District together ,so downtown Dallas will be a fun place to visit and primary destination for residents who enjoy a night out.

All I Want for Christmas !

God has blessed me with the Best Present of my life. My wonderful Son celebrates 2 years of sobriety.This is our first Christmas in some years that we will spend together,him being sober and free.Me, just Happy.

If Santa Clause just wants me to have something, he can bring me a ,Class A motor home to use for an outreach ministry in Dallas County.

Secondly he could drop off a Black S 430,black interior, sunroof top,Mercedes Benz.
I thank God for my paid for red F150 ford pick up truck, it's kind of hard being my wonderful age climbing up into it,I do what I need to do.I gave my Son the car i owned for transportation to work.

So if anyone has an extra Benz or Class A they are not using and need a tax deduction
bring it over.

Main Stream Media/ Surfing Blogs

I started blogging in 2006 as I recovered from a near death experience.Blogging was fun and it was a way regular people spoke to one another or expressed an opinion in a funny way.Blogging was never meant to replace professional journalist or media outlets. I was very comfortable writing how I felt and not checking for errors because it was a blog, kind of like (pig language).When I become angry about a subject,I often blog on instinct and mess up the English language, it has all been fun. Never new anyone would judge my intellect with a blog. Well I have come to realize that my whole professional career is now being judged by my blogs and how well they are written.

Ms. Jewel P.Ross is kicking me from her grave, she was my Teacher in my accelerated English studies class at Booker T. Washington High,Dr.Rideout is also trying to come back and slap me, my English Professor in college.You see people they did teach me English/grammar/spelling and every other subject I needed to excel.I did learn what they taught. I come from very good genes.

Along my 48 year career ,I used what they taught me, the further up the career ladder I climbed,the less I had to type my own work.I forgot reporters do their own typing,no Secretary. Assistant's really do the work for Administrators and for the past 35 years I had the best.In fact Evelyn Johnson went on to work for Rudy Radmas, now Dallas County and my last Assistant ,is still working for Dallas County Ya Monica Flemmings.Monica is so good all I had to do was tell her what I wanted to said,the message I wanted to convey and when I received the document it was ready for signature. When I prepare professional documents since my retirement I always have them proofed. I'm sure at times I could pay more attention to what I write on a blog, but it was just a blog until DMN started reading mine and copying it into their newspaper and others followed. Tray Garrison knows me and Dear guy he tried to defend me, but the Tray lovers took on the cause , Rod D put it on religious blog page, and some one on there called me a Democrat. he of all people call me illiterate-wacko, I might be wacko but far from illiterate. I am not a professional journalist and if they want to reprint my blogs they should proof them. The DMN wants so bad to make me look bad,but how can they? I am 68 years old,born in Dallas ,lived here all my life until I spent a few years working in East Texas, everyone here knows me, my work and professional ability.Editorial Board personnel go and come.The old timers are all gone this new crew thinks a little different.In the past people in positions were all afraid of the Editorial Board, I didn't even know why.It took County Judge Lee Jackson at the time, to inform me of the importance of the Editorial Board in Dallas.I still didn't have sense to be afraid or care about what the Editorial Board though about me.I had never been invited nor spoken to them,didn't know they were talking about me to other people.However I quickly found out about the Editorial Board when they came gunning for me after Mayor Miller was no longer in office.Mayor Miller was one of them(journalist) so they new she was not afraid of them,however the New Mayor came into office with the Editorial Board being the opinion of choice.
The ED got me back with the DHA ouster,City Council race and a few other things ,God is good I am still not afraid of the "Palin" group ,maybe I should be.I never will unless they are put over the Texas retirement system and Social Security or take over distribution of Judge Judy and Judge Mathis shows.

Southern sector Leadership Working Good!

I want to my myself very clear, when I speak of Southern Sector leadership it most often is about the ones who have local authority to make our quality of life better.
The Officials at the State level are working their best for us and the people of the State. I know we elect them, however they must do what is in the best interest of the entire State. I've had some problems with some of what they have done , for the most part they are serving us well in Austin.They work,meet with community,send newsletters and answer calls. They also write bills and get them passed, that's the job they signed on to,some go beyond that an example Senator Royce West has been successful in bringing UNT and UNT law schools to Dallas he gets an A for that.
State Rep.Helen Giddings is working very well for her constituent and helping to save Paul Quinn college,lending her name gave the school the needed credibility to jump start its fund raising and reduce the Governing Board which has proven to be the number one problem.I don't think when Rep.Giddings sponsored the Dallas County water bill ,she knew Commissioner John Wiley Price would use the bill to try and rule over the water rights for private businesses and others, hurting growth in the South.Rep.Yvonne is working hard also,but she sometimes have strange opinions on issue at least she responds.I ask Rep.Davis to support a application for EB-5 to have a North Texas Regional Center which would encourage Chinese investors to build and create jobs in South Dallas,her response was she could not because of the immigration issues.I understand and respect her decision,but the US has borrowed money from the Chinese so what could be the problem with them building job for Southern sector people? I also did not like her strategy on the UNT law school some time ago.Rep.Barbara Caraway is also a good worker always has been on issues she support,is independent on her issues. Rep.Terri Hodge is also a good worker has gotten a lot done in her job and is very aggressive on issues she's involved with.Rep.Hodge has done more to help ex offenders than anyone I know other then Whitmire of Houston.I cannot support her this time because of the pending trial,I realize she has not been found guilty of anything and is innocent until such time as she goes to Court and found innocent of gulity.If we are ever to be taken serious as a people we must respect the rules of our justice system,and a grand jury indictment means a body of citizens has said there is enough evidence of guilt to stand trial,I believe in the Grand Jury system.Congress woman Eddie B. Jonson is very good in her job and works very hard and is respected on the Hill in DC.

So now you know ,I am very satisfied with our State Elected Officials and the School Board which now include Ms.Nuttall, thank you Ron for your pass service.
